The feast

Told u all in my last posting that last week, we had makan makan gathering 2 days in a row and all of us were bloated like ikan buntal...Well, call it deja vu if u like but we are having another feasts again today and tomorrow!

Ironically, I meet up with friends here more often than I do with my family back home in Malaysia. Maybe my kids have grown more closer to their friends here than with their cousin. Maybe then, we should have more makan makan gathering during the weekends to bond family ties instead of waiting for raya only??

Another thing about makan makan here, its so easy coz we all pakai paper/plastic plates and utensils. So tak payah nak susah payah basuh pinggan after that and no worries of the need to serve the food on your best china, Pyrex or whatever. In fact bila masak bubur or curry, just put the pot on the table!! HEH..HEH...We alwiz joke tat if our mothers saw the way we serve food here, sure they all horror!
