Why chicken breast?

I don't know why but this has alwiz been in my mind- not that it bothers me, just that I wonder why...

Why do we say chicken breast when chicken does not have breast?

I googled it and and this question was actually put up by someone in the net.One person explained that originally, the word "breast" referred to the whole chest, that is to say the front of the body. So that's why we are stuck with chicken breast.

What do you think? Can you imagine if we call it chicken chest instead?

Bowling @ Riyadh

After almost 3 years tak main bowling, imagine my excitement when we found out there is a bowling centre here in Riyadh and it is open for families. Happpy gile! Bowling is the only game I can actually play:-)

When I was in kuching, I used to have to join bowling kakis and we played inter companies competitions. I am not a pro, my usual score is between 130-140 je. Those were the time when me and my bowling frens sanggup skip lunch, instead we went to the centre to bowl! I even had my own bowling bowl..that time bowling was my passion...

Back in Riyadh, The Universal Bowling Centre (UBC) has 30 lanes. Lane 19 to 30 are for families and lane 1 - 18a re for singles (men). We are separated by a wall. However, our hubbies are allowed to play with us at the family side.

It is also hari ini dalam sejarah for all of us ladies as here we can actually adorn our arbayas and bowl in jeans and t.shirt! Mula mula rasa pelik pulak, somehow kinda feel naked without the arbaya but I cant imagine myself bowling with the arbaya hanging around my feet- sure tergolek dog!

But some arab ladies do bowl in their arbayas and I really salute them! I would have trip over the arbaya each time I throw!

Im not sure how much it cost now to play in Msia but here, one game is SAR20! Damn expensive! The balls are not really in good condition either, banyak dah crack and shoes..eemm, I leave it to your imagination coz socks are not compulsory!

The men are smitten by a Colombian lady there..semua berebut nak register nama! Other staffs are pinoy ladies. Surprisingly, the cafe served Coffee Bean drinks!!

Apa apa pun, we had a fabulous time, ramai yg baru first time pegang bola and so lokang is their target! Our kids enjoyed themselves tremendously. They also have this small art centre where kids can do arts and craft, arcade games and a pool table. Not bad.

All in all it was great FUN to throw the ball, see the pins going down, to cheer,to laugh and to high five with frens! It is definitely the place for me to chill out!
