My constant battle with the laundry

It has been almost 2 years since I changed my career to a housewife/homemaker and I want to declare that I fail miserably in laundry business! Of all the jobs I have to take care of at home, this is something that I procrastinate all the time. I could never finish washing the heaps of clothes that keep on piling up and neither could I finish folding all the bajus! Washing clothes is not that bad coz i can just chuck em in the washing machine... but the thing I really detest is folding the clothes.

I rather cook, kemas rumah and clean the toilet. Yep, I dun have a good working relationship with laundry. :-(

I told my kids, how I wish soon someone will invent a machine that can fold all the bajus neatly. I will buy it at whatever cost! With shame I gotta admit most of the time, we have to rummage thru my laundry basket to find clothes/socks etc to wear for the day. *blush*

Right now, here I am staring at the pile of my laundry waiting to be clear and here I am blogging and facebooking, trying to ignore that laundry basket.Hu hu....

The day the sky turned orange

This happened at noon time today...in just minutes, Riyadh sky turned orange. The above pictures brilliantly captured how the sand slowly blanketing the city....memang menakut kan...

Today, the hottest topic in FB among the ibu ibu in Riyadh is the sandstorm. This one is different becoz the sky actually turned orange. It is kinda scary too....
All of a sudden, the sunny sky turned into dark yellowish/orangy color. I actually forced hubby to go outside and take these pics!



It made me feel insaf sedikit...betapa besarnya kuasa Allah. If He wants it to happen, it can just happen by a blink of the eye. I am glad we were all safely at home just now.

Been ages!

Gosh it has been almost a month since my last post. There were many stories that I would luv to post here but then....macam takde masa pulak! My time management as a housewife sucks!hu hu......

I do hope to find some time to jot down some notes about this and that...about our trip to Makkah and Jeddah. About the fun we had bowling for the first time in Riyadh without arbaya! About the kids, about the food, about the weather...whatever!
